Challenging myself with a warp that can help me explore 2 new-to-me things:

1. 8/2 cotton true plain weave with 2 10dpi heddles threaded to double the sett (and spicing it up with colour & weave)
2. Summer & Winter with cotton in a proper (little) project (using 8/4 cotton as pattern weft)

I may also try something else… not sure yet.

Used a weaving software to draft 4 designs (2 C&W, 2 S&W) on a single warp with space for 6 cloths of 25 x 25 cm (after hemming). The warping took a lot of time and effort, but - fingers crossed - I may have actually gotten it right, against the odds. Incl. floating selvedges.

The weaving was fun and I learned a lot! The warp colours turned out just right for all designs. The warp got pretty challenging at the end, and a couple of errors snuck in, but I’m embracing them. My wonderful mum cut and hemmed the six pieces.
