Notes

I want both looms set up at the same time, and this one will be an easy, brainless weave where I can just use the treadles in order and not have to think!

I used 15 colors in this gradient, with 2 wraps on the warp board in groups of 4.

15 groups x 4 in each group x 4 rounds on warp board = 240 ends ÷ 12 epi = 20” x .8 for shrinkage = 16” total

Bluegrass Mills 6/2 cotton
6 yard warp

Pg 191 A Weaver’s Book of 8-shaft patterns but use shafts 1+2 for plain weave because there’s not enough heddles on shaft 1. Then use shafts 3-8 for the rest of the weave.

Fixed 2 simple threading errors! Now it’s completely ready to go!

Both looms are now set up for weaving and the amount of colorful rainbows between the two just makes me so happy right now!

The first couple of shafts keep floating (3 &4) and I don’t remember that happening in the past. I’ve done this weave a couple of times. So I did order some jazz bands from Lunatic Fringe yarns to help hold the treadles up.

The jazz bands work perfectly!! Yay!!

Cut these off my loom this weekend! Time to sew the edges!
