My first attempt at doubleweave twill on my 8-shaft loom. I like how when the colors change, the twill lines change directions also. I am beginning with a simple sample piece (about 12” across when unfolded) but I plan on making a blanket soon now that I see this is working out so well!

Results: The center seam is nearly unnoticeable! All the reed marks washed out just perfectly. Onward to the real blanket, which will be about 75% bigger than this sample!
