I finally sat down and figured out St. David’s cross! The original pics are from Melin Tregwynt’s website. I bought a piece of sample fabric from them last year and it really helped me figure out the colors for this in doubleweave.

For the profile draft, I had to start with graph paper and think out where the boxes were filled in. I couldn’t find a draft online, so I’m grateful I could figure it out by myself!! And then I used handweaving.net’s tools to get a few different ideas to work with when the time comes to weave this draft!

For doubleweave, it’s 120 threads across and down for 1 repeat. So 1/2 of those (60 threads) will be light green, 6x4 so 24 white, 24 med, 6x2 so 12 dark green.

Plans for quilt in picture. I planned them out myself so the smallest square is only 1.5”. Bigger squares are 3.5”.

Throw quilt 50”x60” or twin 70x90.

30 repeats of 4 threads = 120 threads ÷ 24 epi = 5” per repeat so repeat 3x

Light + white = 12 warp board
Light + med = 12 warp board
Light + dark = 6 warp board
