Notes

Used fiberworks weaving program to take profile draft and turn it into a weaving pattern.

12-28-2024

Try multi color warp with lots of color but 5 at a time and drop a color and pick one up every few wraps on the warp board
Mixed with solid black for the 2nd color
White warp for colorful warp color
Or
Use some color and weave things in the weft of one, like add some stripes or dashes or something from the color and weave book.

Make each section bigger in warp and weft

Try 1 ply handspun yarn??

01-04-2025

Tried another size of profile draft and went back to very simple but might use 3-4 blocks depending on the projected size with the handspun yarn I chose.

Also, skipping the plaid idea at the moment but I want to try it later for something else. So I’m keeping the idea here for now.

EPI 15 (30 doubleweave)
2.5 yard warp
12ā€ wide
176 ends total each color
Warp as light and dark held together on warp board

Every rotation 1234 is 1ā€ so 2x = 2ā€

This scarf will be 2x for each square in the profile draft
