06.07.2015 There will be a brief pause in this project due to the idiot that left the knitting draped over the project bag on the floor. I then proceeded to step on one of my knit pick harmonies and broke it off the circular clean.
I’ve ordered new but it says 5-14 days for delivery. Project now depends on when.
That’ll teach me!
06.15.2015 Needle has arrived! Now, I’ve started a new project. Which one do I work on?
06.17.2015 knitting along great on this and thought of a few things I will need to remind myself if I decide to do this project again. Let’s see….. I cast on 36 and did the ribbed cuff in K1 P1. The directions for these are great and this project knits right along. It’s a great after work, in front of the TV relax knit! All done but the bind off and the thumbs but that can wait till tomorrow it’s bed time.
06.18.2015 bind off gloves in pattern, K1, P1, weave in ends. I did ten rows for the top cuff. I think 5 or 6 would have been plenty as my fingers aren’t that long but even with out the thumbs on yet they fit nice and feel really good.
Thumb - I picked up 4 stitches, (next time pick up 6),knit 1 round, do decrease round, knit 11 rounds, for me 8 or 9 would be enough. Weave in all ends. Really nice! Great fit and they feel wonderful.
