NOTES: Top of sock was the ribbing and 4 1/2 pattern repeats equaled 4”. Next for increase - K7, KFB (repeat 8X). Work stitches evenly onto needles.
When shaping heel opening cast on 36 st loosely rejoin in round and continue with ribbing back to beginning of rnd. Work ribbing rnds. For decreases K7, K2tog. Work pattern beginning with rnd2. Knit rnds 1-8 three more times. (Total of 4 pattern repeats) then end with a rnd 1. Finish with 10 rnds in ribbing.

6.21.2011 Wow! This one sock is taking forever. It has nothing to do with the pattern or the sock. It’s an easy knit. I just haven’t had any time in the last few weeks. It’s been a busy summer and it’s just getting started.

7/7/2011 Well, I’ve managed to make it half way through the second sock. I think eventually I will have a pair. I like the pattern, it’s easy but I think I’d like it better done in a solid color which might show the pattern up better. To be continued…..
7/12/2011 I managed to fracture my right wrist so, the second sock may be a little bit before it’s done. I’ve managed to make this the most timely project I’ve ever done and it’s so easy.
7/13/2011 Messed up wrist and all, I managed to finish these socks. They really work up easy if you have the time to work on them they could be completed in a short week of evenings or a weekend.
