Notes

Yarn from a giveaway: Loops and Threads Meandering Serpentine 222m/100g colour Peachy Keen 815 Lot 201812. made in China. 90% acrylic 10% nylon. gauge on 4.5mm: 20s and 24r. Machine wash cold. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low, gentle cycle. Do not iron.

50g of yarn used.

Worked an extra increase in row 10 (to 40 sts around).
Upper hand = 42 rows. Lower hand = 19 rows.
Decrease around 8 sts (work 3, dec 1) on 3.5mm needles for k2p2 ribbing. Worked 17 rows of ribbing.
Thumb: picked up 14 sts plus extras in corners and decreased to 14 sts to work thumb. Worked to tip of thumb. Decrease: k1, k2tog around; next row: k2tog around. Pull yarn through 5 sts around.

In future, I would add some extra stitches to the base of the thumb, which is too tight (since the thumb is created with waste yarn).
