Third time lucky with Judy’s magic cast on??? Maybe??? I have no idea if I’m knitting this collar properly.

Completed collar and it actually looks pretty good. I’m surprised by how much I enjoyed knitting it after the nightmare I had with the cast on but it I really like it.

December 16, 2025

After a few disasters picking up stitches for the right front edge (the left front edge was fine) I have finally finished the collar!

Joined in the round and finished up the raglan increases.

Split for sleeves! I’m going to knit five or six rounds before trying it on but it looks good right now.

Edit: tried it on and it looks perfect!

Finished current ball of yarn and put the body on hold for now.

Will knit both sleeves before finishing the body.

Picked up stitches for left sleeve.

Finished the left sleeve.

I knit the ribbing inside out as an experiment and it doesn’t look too bad. I wish I’d gone down two needle sizes instead of just one but I think it’ll look better once it’s been blocked.

Omitted the set up rows for the bind off.

Finished another ball of yarn on the body with about an inch left before the ribbing.

Picked up stitches for right sleeve.

December 30, 2025

Completed right sleeve.

January 6, 2026

Finished!

Added approx. 2cm to the length of the body.

Knitted ribbing and bind off in the same way as the sleeves.
