7 total pattern repeats. I reached the point where I needed to start toe decreases before the pattern repeat was finished (at row 12). I started the decreases and continued the last 4 rows of pattern and then switched over to plain stockinette for the remainder of the toe. I decreased down to 10 stitches on each needle.

Also, my gauge is apparently bullet proof. If I had knit on the recommended needle size (a 2.5 US) then I would have easily been able to knit the 44 stitch sock. Once blocked, these should fit perfectly.
