Notes

Maybe this wasn’t the best choice for the first knitting project after years of inactivity… but I’m incredibly satisfied at how it turned out to be!

Stranded knitting is not at all easy for beginners but I somehow started understanding how it works. The worst part was mantaining the correct gauge on the edges, which are in fact a bit messy (but still look good)

I liked very much the overall pattern, but should I do this project again, I’d put some decreases at middle length in order to make them follow hands’ shape

The gloves were ready at mid-September but I was afraid of messing it up all when picking up the thumb stitches… :D I used DPNs and had some problems when binding off, the thumbs are surely the problem area… also, I have to figure out how to close the hole at the edge of the thumb gusset :P

I choose a 70% wool 30% polyester yarn which is very easy to work with but unfortunately tends to felting a lot!
