Notes

Fun to knit and flattering - this is one of my favorite tops. The Panda Silk yarn is wonderfully next-to-skin soft, drapes beautifully and makes the top the perfect weight for laying.

I really like the “pretzel” sweater concept, which this pattern is based on, but did not like the bottom up construction. So I came up with a way to make this sweater from the top down. The only “seaming” is joining the side/underarm seams. For the pattern I used the 3-needle bind off but grafting would work just as well, or even binding off and seaming. Then you add the bottom & sleeve trims and your “Aztec” is ready to wear!
