Notes and Mods:

• Using 2.00mm circular, ML
• JMCO for sock one. 10+10st -> 64st
• Two pattern reps, then start increasing for gusset and heel turn
• Used reverse Shur’tugal heel that I love until rnd21, then turned heel.
• Knit the back of the sock in ribbed pattern until the start of the 4th pattern rep, otherwise the cable pulls too tightly and I can’t get my feet into this sock!
• Four Five and a half pattern reps in total before 12 18 rows 2x2 ribbing
• Changed to a 2.25mm circular for the last half pattern repeat and ribbing to accomodate my calves ;)
• Used Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind Off

30/12/12: I finally decided I didn’t like wearing these socks because they are too short for me. I’ve tinked the ribbing and I should have enough yarn left to knit one more pattern repeat. I much prefer mid-calf socks to ankle-ish ones…changing the mods above :)

28/12/13: And finally finished for the second (and last!) time. I’m so much happier with the longer length :)
