1/6/10: Starting tension swatch in stocking stitch.
6/6/10: Gauge is messing with my head. If gauge in pattern is 6 reps x 8 st pattern = 4”, and CO is 64 st for medium size, doesn’t that mean med = 5 1/3”? Allow for stretch (pattern is stretchy); can it really accommodate 4”?!? I think I’ll CO and continue blindly. I’m hoping I don’t run out of yarn….

Did 4 rows, then joined the circle for magic loop (also new to me).
12/6/10: Total 10 rows rib, changed to 2.25mm. Five repeats of pattern so far. Now starting 2nd sock to see how much wool I have left (would like a 6th pattern repeat…)
19/6/10: Six reps and heel turned on one sock, starting 6th rep on 2nd sock. I love ML! :D
31/7/10: Finished! What a wonderful fit, and a straight-forward well written pattern. I’d recommend it to everyone. Now to toss out a pair of bought socks and choose the next pattern to knit :D
