This is the first lace shawl pattern in the Craftsy Class Knit this! Mastering Lace Shawls with Laura Nelkin.

23/9/12: The pic of the yarn cake shows the truest colours in this pretty yarn! Gauge on 4.00mm circular: 22st x 30r. Right on! Using Crochet Provisional CO as suggested by seachanges, shown here by Lucy Neatby. Almost finished the Nebula stitch in section 3, and therefore my Jedi Training :)

26/9/12: I am now Jedi Warrior, and starting on the Plasma Stitch. The pic only shows half of the shawl; the rest won’t fit on the needle when blocked! :)

2/10/12: Jedi Master! The pic gives you an idea of how this shawl will look when finished/blocked.

4/10/12: Finished knitting the Nova Stitch edging about 22:30, and was up until midnight blocking it. I’ll wear this tomorrow night at the official opening of the EGV Annual Exhibition (where I’m exhibiting Wear Red)!

5/10/12: This is so cute, better that I had imagined. I received quite a few compliments over my Anakin Skywalker :)

26/10/12: I finally remembered to add the finished photos; these look a little grey. The colour is more like the knit-in-progress pics! :D
