Last cast on of the 2016! New Year’s Eve gradient kAL with my sister Marlys. Our first gradient projects. I’m going with a worsted weight, and a long awaited pattern that has been on my queue for several years now.

After beginning my New Years Eve cast on with the worsted weight, on New Years Day, I decided to restart fresh with sport weight yarn. I think the worsted weight wool was a bit too heavy. New Year, new cast on! Happy 2017!

blocked - 9.5” X 38”

4/15/17 - finally - finished! The only think holding me up was the kitchener stitch finishing. I despise kitchener stitch - although it did turn out just fine.
