I’ve always wanted to create another Eyelet Cardi, but this time rather than top down will be incorporating CustomFit.

Alternating yarn every two rows.

The eyelet cardi is now a tosh cardi. After I finished the first front panel, I realzed I forgot to add the eyelet pattern and with fingering weight yarn, I really didn’t want to rip back.

6/18/17: Trim - #2.75 needles (pick up 3/4 ratio) - always perfect. BO w/same needle, loosely.

Since I didn’t do a button band closure, and didn’t really want to attach a button, I wasn’t sure how I would keep the sweater secured at the top. I found some great screw-in pedestal buttons from jul - they are really well made and I now have a couple different design options for sweater closures. If you click on the photo you’ll see both designs that I chose. Will also be nice for chunky cowl or scarves this fall. Just what I needed!
