My April 26th birthday cast-on! It’s a beautiful day ahead - the weather is amazing and I have the rest of the week off. Life is good - and another year ahead, with new beginnings!

Taking the lead from another sock knitter and using 2.25 mm for cuff and foot, and 2.50 for the cabled leg. Cute pattern - and thank you Leah for the birthday discount coupon!

8/12/16 - one sock done. Been doing sweater knitting this spring and summer. Now it goes on the back burner again as I have other socks to knit for September birthdays. LOVE this pattern tho!

With a 72 stitch sock - go down to a 2.0 mm needle for myself.
