Tree Topper Hat
With the holidays fast approaching, our thoughts turn to making something for everyone on our list. A perfect choice for a special knit item is this cute Tree Topper Hat. Our Ginny designed and developed the pattern for this special holiday topper! She created two versions - one is worked with size 8 needles and the other, size 7. Both use worsted weight yarn. She chose Plymouth Encore Starz, which has a festive sparkle. Make something special for yourself or loved ones. Any worsted weight yarn will do. Have fun!

Materials
Two skeins of Plymouth, Encore Starz. (200 yards), or any worsted weight yarn.
Version 1 (White with 6 green trees): Size 8 circular needles, 16” length. Size 8 double pointed needles.
Version 2 (Blue with 8 white trees): Size 7 circular needles, 16” length. Size 7 double pointed needles.
Stitch marker. Yarn needle. Scissors. Pom Pom maker, 3” size.
Sizes: Version #1: Adult Medium/Large, approximately 8” tall x 16” in circumference. Gauge is 4 ½ sts./in.
Version #2: Adult Large, approximately 8” tall x 18” circumference.
Approximately 8” deep x 18” in circumference. Gauge is 5 sts./in.
