A beautiful taupe colored 100% cotton tape yarn bought in a little yarn shop in marciana marina on the island of elba.
Gabriella chose the yarn and the pattern.

The yarn was slippery to work with, but the results were worth it.
I switched to straight bamboo needles mid shawl because it was too slippery to work with using metal and I did not have large enough wooden or bamboo interchangeable circulars
After the switch the work went much faster
