finally! my daughter finally sent me a photograph of her wearing the coat!

I am only using the pattern as a base - in the magazine photo it looks as though it was worked without seams, but in the instructions it is worked in 5 different pieces (back, left front, right front, sleeves)
I am working in in 3 pieces (body + sleeves)
I am also using a much smaller hook - to get the guage with the yarns I am using - a mix: some left over from other projects, some bought especially for this one.

pss I added a shirt type collar and used 3 huge black vintage (fifties) buttons to close the coat from above the waist up to the neck
