I am working on the steampunk version of the inspira cowl
although the two skeins looked great together I am not so happy with the combo in the project
I thought a solid plus a variegated would work well, but the pattern loses something without the constrasting variegated yarns
but I will perservere!

tension is really the key here
In the first 12 row section my tension on the colour changes wasn’t even ,losing the fullness of the cowl
I will solve this by using the bottom as the top and increasing as opposed to decreasing converting the pattern to a top down as opposed to a bottom up
