If you want to see my excuses for having to rip out so much, click on the spoiler! ;)
The pattern is disorganized: the first thing to knit is last in the pattern. And the rest is out of order, too. Because the pattern is so disordered, I missed “bind off 2 stitches”….. OK! I guess it boils down to the fact that I didn’t read the pattern closely enough. Deep sigh and :woman_facepalming::skin-tone-3:

Day 1. Yarn arrived in the mail today at about 4:00. Such a pretty gray! It is so soft and is working up fantastic.
The bottom border is worked sideways first, then stitches picked up from long straight edge.

The yarn got only a 4-star rating because it is splitty. It is nice and soft.

At the end of Day 3, I am halfway through one leg of the triangle. (15 points)

Day 9It was coming out way too big. Ripped back to the border and left more points for the ties. Didn’t work any increases but went up one needle size.

Finally beyond where I was before frogging back. Making good time.

At the end of the day, it is taking about 10 minutes to knit across one row.

I cannot believe this. I’ve ripped back to the border once already, and read the pattern at least 3 times and still missed the instructions to bind off 2 stitches at the beginning of each row in the first section of decreases! No wonder it wasn’t coming out as shallow as it should have….
They say the third time is a charm! Frogging back again!

Back on track. Past the stripes.

Should be finishing tomorrow morning. Probably 30/45 minutes minutes knitting, then work the ends in and block it by washing and drying in the dryer. Then it will be ready to ship!
