Needed a project I could take along. Didn’t like squares as much as I like hexagons. Not sure how many I’m gonna make but I know how I’ll be joining them.

So far I’ve learned that iPhone photos at night with my laptop in the background make for terrible colour representation.

May 27: I’m up to 3 rows of the 14 I want to complete.

June 23: 50 hexagons and their tails complete. Took me about 3 hours to take care of the tails.

July 22: Joining the last 20 circles, then another 50 hexagon tail party.

Seven rounds of sc was a bad idea but oh so worth it.

The yarn really softened up in the wash/dry but I don’t expect the tails to stay in place. Lesson learned; don’t just crochet over. Fortunately my grandmother’s really easy on stuff.
