I have had a great time mixing all these exquisite blues - the main colourway is a vibrant schaeffer blue/greens silk and wool yarn called bugs, the aqua is some hand-spun & hand-dyed alpaca - soft with a sheen. Sally named this her faith jacket as you knit the strips with faith that it will all come together in the end. There is such a lot of finishing though - I sewed up sections so I could get a glimpse of how it would turn out & for fitting and I had to un- pick & replace a couple of strips as they were too drapey & didn’t relate well ‘body’ wise to the other panel pieces. Lot of mucking around but indulged my desire to immerse in different blue shades & yarns. I changed the front strip by making a scarf then connecting the front panels, great option for stash bits & pieces
