k1p1 for hem in sleeves and waist.

People mention the shoulders being wonky, so I’m worried about that…not there yet, so far everything looks great.

Ok, so I’ve had to rip this thing apart to many times. OMG. NOT the pattern’s fault, clearly my own. OMG-first time, my mom was visiting and I was unable to count and talk apparently. Second time I totally missed a line that said I should repeat the above four more times…Third time because I realized the stinking yarn, although same dye lot, was completely different. SO I had to rip back the entire stinking sweater to below the armpits and start fading in the new yarn so it wouldn’t look disgusting! AHH! BUT the good news is that the sweater is beautiful, the pattern is perfect, gives a great fitting sweater too! I’ve never made a sweater in this fashion (only top down previously) and I was a bit leery.

For the neck ribbing I knit both of the rounds of the ribbing for the color changes so it didn’t look wonky.

Large needle: 6
small needle: 4
because I knit loose and this worked otu perfect. I made the small size and it fits both myself and my daughter.

EXCELLENT fit and pattern. No extra shaping was required although some other folks said they needed it. I foll0wed the pattern to a T and love it.
