I was lucky enough to obtain this cute pattern when it was generously offered for free.

Started this evening-what a fun hat! the brim is a little obnoxious just because I hate having to psso but that is my own problem. I am loving this fun little hat-the technique is different for me during the body portion, it is nice to learn something new. I did have a slight issue with the whole (with two loops) on the knit thing-but by reading ahead and seeing what was going to happen next round I figured out I was supposed to loop twice as I was pulling the yarn through the stitch. Not too complex-just new for me. :)

If I were writing the pattern, I may have done it a little differently, just to avoid a little confusion. It is completely understandable just written in a way that is easy to miss some things…The design is really cute-I am loving it-just a matter of NO TIME to work on it! haha!

I used the cast on 85 for this yarn and used a tight gauge for brim and loosened up for the body. Fits perfect on my 21.5” head with room to spare up to a 23”. I did a full 4 repeats and my total height before bind off was 9”
