I started this one today-working on the smallest size as my gauge is a tad bigger…Also…I decided to go k1tbl, p1 for the edge…

Had some huge issues with the twists and one of the rows totally coming out wrong…but wanted to just give it a fresh go in the morning-

In the morning-So I’m an idiot…totally read a bunch of this wrong (multiple times mind you)…but I blame that lady that won’t shut up at my daughter’s karate class. Now that I’ve attempted the same part with no yappy lady I am back reading correctly. :)

I had some more issues last night when I was working on it-but I was also watching tv…so idk what happened…I fudged it and I think I’m on the right track now? Not sure if it was the pattern or me. I think, for the decreases, I’m not going to switch to a solid color. I’m not liking that look…..

This has turned out quite huge (I knew my gauge would be off-my yarn isn’t quite dk and I’m a loose knitter-this is NOT a pattern flaw) I think I’m going to make it a cowl/hat convertible thing. :)

So I wound up making it into a cowl only. I got a little annoyed with it after I realized it wouldn’t be a hat. It is a really nifty pattern though, and one day I may make it correctly! :) I’ll have to get some pics today!
