Notes

My daughter is an Alexander McQueen fan. She let me borrow her knockoff Alexander McQueen scarf to wear post chemotherapy. I never wore it. Wearing a scarf with skulls all over it while I was bald from chemotherapy seemed like too much of a conversation starter. However, because she was so fond of the pattern I decided to knit her a blanket for her birthday using various skull patterns I cribbed from the internet. The thing is much bigger than I thought it would be. Also, because it is reversible it weighed a ton when it was finished. Her birthday was March 10. I made it but my thumbs were not happy. Luckily I didn’t wind up with a DVT and a pulmonary embolism from spending so many hours sitting and knitting. I credited Domiknitrix with the large skull I put in the center of the blanket. Sorry Alexander McQueen. I couldn’t just knit the skulls in your scarf.

Just a note - I finished in plently of time. Now I just have to be patient and wait to give it to her.

Another note - I gave it to my daughter. She loves it.
