Joined the front legs with a 5-stitch wide strip. At the point in the pattern where it is flat before increasing for the head, joined in this strip. Picked up for the white yarn to continue with head shaping. Moved decreases out by 12 stitches because otherwise it was too pointy.

Knit a patch for the nose.

Made the legs a little too long, gave her big paws as a result.

Don’t like seaming things so I’m going to redo the body in the round.

For the ears and tail: long-tail cast on, join.
For the front legs: JMCO cast-on, follow directions, after increases are done, short row like a heel turn. St st for 32 rows.
k9, bind off 12, k9 (new end of row now)
Decrease each end of the k rows, purl back until 7/8 remain. Continue in St st until it is long enough to wrap around the body.

For back legs: same thing, but short row two sets.

On, and I’m going to pull back and do intarsia in the body itself because I don’t like the raised edges on the black.
