Thread starting tail through i-cord tube and pull so the smaller end is turned inside-out, inside the bigger end, to make a trumpet shape. Sew on.
Antennae in fly are very small, so I just made short 4-stitch icord stubs for them.

Made a chart for the new puppy ears. Will have to record it more permanently somewhere. Sewed on mouth a paws with brown yarn.

Took some fiddling to get the snout so that we liked it. Ended up rolling the previous too-small patch underneath the larger to make it stick out. And I sewed it down flat on top and kinda triangular at the bottom. Seems to work.
The ears that were too big:
JMCO 6 stitches, knit around
Inc 4 times every other row for 4 rows
Inc 2 times on back side one last time
Knit plain 5 rows
dec 4 times every three rows until 5 stitches remain each side.
Sew to head.
-=-
5.5 for the super chunky.
3.5mm for the bug yarns.
