Knitted exactly as the pattern, though I couldn’t find a 2.5mm needle for the brim, so I went down a size.

This is another really lovely free pattern - a good introduction to stranded knitting, I think - and I’ll knit this one again too. The yarn is wonderful to knit with; and because it’s hand-dyed, there’s a subtlety to the effect of the Nordic patterning. And hats are so fast to knit, duh! mostly knitted up in one evening - honest, guv.
