Notes

Another ‘odds and ends’ knit that I absolutely adore and which I absolutely loved knitting. Thanks, Sylvie, for asking me to test!

I’ve only used yarn from stash/leftovers, but I’ve tried to stick to 3 main colours (grey, brown, cream), then I’ve graduated the 4th colour from very dark blue to sea-green, then back to dark blue (this last bit is simply due to what yarn/colours I had/ran out of, not a design feature, lol). So very virtuous of me not to buy any extra yarn!

I cast on 138 sts and the FO weighs exactly 300gm. I worked 20 repeats and the scarf measures about 70” in length and is 11.5” wide (I haven’t hard-blocked it).

I worked a Kitchener graft at each end: I feel personally that this looks better than a 3-needle bind off, as you avoid getting that cast-off ‘ridge’ showing on the right side.

Anyway, it’s turned out beautifully and, sorry, guys in my life, it’s going to be totally for me
