Sample knit for my new design, Amaranth feminine skirt.

The perfect winter skirt!

• super warm because of dk weight and sitting on the waist
• the rib pattern is very easy to remember (TV-knit!), forgiving and gives total comfort when wearing because it’s stretchy
• very relaxing knit because of easy to remember pattern made from knits and purls, that’s also knitted in the round
• rather quick knit

I designed an above the knee length skirt, knitted in the round from the top-down. A beautiful all over rib pattern and a elastic band at the waist make Amaranth the perfect and comfy to wear fall and winter skirt. Because who wants to wear pants all winter long just because they’re warm…
I love to combine this skirt with a nice pair of tights, boots and a loose fitting sweater.
Intended to sit on the waist, everything is kept nice and warm, which is very important in a skirt worn during winter.
A small amount of increases towards the hip gives a very flattering shape and a little bit of extra space, while the stretchy bind off makes sure you could also run after your bus or kids if needed. :)
