This pattern was quite the challenge when shaping. The yoke pattern is not difficult but has so many different counts that the decreasing was made more difficult. The chart was extremely helpful and I couldn’t have completed the yoke satisfactorily without it. But even with the chart, the counts were still difficult.

I also lengthened the pattern because I wanted the cardigan to reach my waist. That was not difficult to do.

I didn’t like the raw edges of the finished cardigan, so I continued the knitted edge used for the neck down the middle front edges. The sleeves wouldn’t lie flat with that edging, so I left them alone after removing the stitches.
