Started with Tubular cast on instead. So cast on 103 right off the bat. Then followed with:

Row 1 (WS): Sl1wyif, K1, to last stitch, Sl1wyif
Row 2 (RS): K1, Sl1wyif, to last switch, K1
repeated 1+2 one more time.

Row 5: P1, K1…. P1

For ribbing + body, I’m slipping first stitch

for wrap + turn and cast off i used this tutorial. Deb when you do this again in the future watch the whole tutorial first before casting off - you need to know how to cast off the wraps. It doesn’t show how to cast them off but I did what the video said and then just cast off like normal

Used this method for seaming the shoulders, worked well but i may have pulled too tight

Starting sleeves. Because I slipped the first stitch when knitting the front and back panels, it worked out perfect to pick up 41 on the front for the sleeve and 41 on the back for the sleeve, just picking up every slipped stitch.

Very confused about getting the sleeves started. There’s instructions for the whole sleeve that includes the XS-XL sizes but then there’s additional instructions for more frequent decreases just for M+ sizes?? Following the less frequent decrease version. Also confused on whether to follow the full sleeve colourwork chart or the body chart, as the number of leaves is different…

UPDATE: Basically once you finish the instructions and get to 48 total stitches, you still need to do a couple more rows + decreases so then you follow the M instructions as well. It does make the sleeves a bit tight at the end…

Also will purl a row first, then start counting. Says Row 6 is a WS but that doesn’t add up after picking up, so need to start with an extra row first so that Row 1 is a RS row. Pattern is really frustrating/confusing

For neckband I ended up picking up 83, so the first k1 p1 row, I ended up k2tog x7 in the back of the neck.

I also only knit 12 rows for the neckband instead of 18, it felt too long. I wish that I had done a couple decreases so the top of the neck went in a tad….

Used Jeny’s surprisingly stretchy bind off which was great and easy

For sewing the seams I used the mattress stitch
