Gauge = 20 stitches and 30 rows per 10 cm/4 inches with 4mm needle

I knit the size 2- 30.75” with no bust darts. I have a 30” full bust with a size E bra cup. The fit is comfortable and the drape of the top is amazing. However, it is a bit wide on my shoulders.

When I knit this again, I’ll opt for the size 1 (26.75”)- with bust darts. I have a very narrow back and shoulders and larger bust. Due to the wide scoop neckline, I suggest following the cross-back measurements rather than bust since there are optional bust shaping options built into the pattern.

Update: the photos with my daughter wearing this version and me wearing my second version show the versatility of the pattern. However it was still a bit too wide in the neck for my daughter as it was for me. So I added a wider ribbing to the neckline (matching the bottom hem) and now it fits her much better without slipping off her shoulders.
