My second Gigha tank version is the DK weight version in size 1 (27.5” full bust). I have a 30” full bust. This time I am using the instructions for the panels and creating panels out of fully-knit granny squares using Susan Rainey’s pattern Knitted Granny Square. I knit four different squares each with five tiers. Since the length of the squares combined is 9”, I knit the bottom ribbing for 2”. No modifications from the pattern instructions.

In the photos with my daughter, she is wearing my first Gigha tank version (with ribbing). It is size 1 in fingering weight. Since she is only 5’’ tall (quite petite) the arm holes are a bit too deep for her. If you are very petite or have a shorter torso, you might want to reduce the number of stitches cast on for the arm bands. For reference, you can see me wearing the same top on the linked project page. I’m 5’6” and the arm hole depth is perfect for me.
