used smaller needles for a tighter gauge because I feel like a worsted weight sweater in that huge size would just sag into nothing over time, and still be really friggin heavy. after blocking mine measured about 50-ish“ at the widest point and that’s plenty ease on 36” me! doing the seamed version not only helped hugely with alternating my skeins (2 skeins each for front and back, alternated every 2 rows, used the 5th skein for seaming and the sleeves) but also will prevent it from growing downwards over time.
I named it after the tv show because all the flecks of red, yellow, green, and deep black make me think of walking through the woods ^u^
6/9 - frogged the experiment sweater that failed badly, waiting for more yarn to arrive to use a pattern instead
7/14 - cast on for seamed version because all of my skeins are VERY different, so it’s easier to alternate them in flat pieces and then seam instead of figuring out how to alternate 5 skeins at once. knitting both front and back at the same time
7/18 - 10 inches of back done, 12 inches of front
7/20 - 108 rows of stockinette = 17 inches for front
128 rows = 21.5 inches
7/21 - FRONT IS DO NE
8/3 - front and back seamed at shoulders, neckband done. going to block the body before I seam the sides and then pick up the sleeves, will then block sleeves by themselves
8/16 - finally blocking the body

UPDATE: After having not worn this in years because the arms were always too tight and the body longer than I prefer now, I decided to send this sweater to the frogs… The yarn is being soaked to get the kinks out, and will be reknit into something new!
