2/18/13: just put on the buttons and wove in the ends. This is gorgeous - the shine of silk with the body of linen. It’s hard to knit things for my best friend living in a warm climate, but this fibre will be right at home there.

I special-ordered the Flaxen to make the Kowloon Cardigan pattern, but found it frustrating to set up the lace pattern (which is worked on both sides and has a bunch of purl-through-the-back-loops). So I frogged that and started this instead. It’s flying along.
