Remind me never to knit with black wool ever again ;)
Otherwise, it’s going well. I had to tink back a couple of rows when I increased the wrong number of stitches – really annoying because I read the pattern twice and still did it wrong, but there you go. That’s the only blip so far. I’ve knitted the front of the pocket and I’m on the main body/back of pocket now.

Finished the main body and started on the first sleeve. booyaa wants stripes on the sleeves so I’ve done a wide stripe of green at the top of the left sleeve. Then I’m going to borrow from howlinghickory’s and do three skinny stripes below the elbow on the other side.
Got him to try it on and it feels a bit snug but I think that’s partly because this wool creates a firm fabric when knitted at this gauge so it’s kind of stiff and unwieldy. I prefer to knit this wool loosely. But I know once the hoodie is washed and blocked it’ll be softer and it’ll fit nicely.
