If triple-stranding lace-weight isn’t your thing, I knit up a version of Triple Time using the aran-weight Millstone Tweed (just a single-strand)!

Used the exact same needle size as listed in the pattern (a US 11) and got the exact same gauge (12 sts & 18 rnds = 4”).

In this version, I knit the size 3 and no A-line shaping and added about 1” to the body length compared to what’s listed in the pattern.

If using a similar aran/bulky-weight, here is what I estimate in terms of yardage for each size (including enough for swatching): 500 (550, 600, 650) (700, 775, 800) (875, 950, 1000), 6 (6, 7, 7) (8, 8, 9) (10, 10, 11) balls

If making any length adjustments (to sleeves or body), definitely get another ball!
