We are making a vest using the heart pattern from Sally. The shaping throughout the body is pretty much the same as the pattern. The armholes have a finished crochet edge, and there are buttons along one shoulder to make it easier to go on and off. 2x2 ribbing along the neckline too.

I’m partnering on this with Tess to get it done in time for a new baby in the office. It is easy so far, and it isn’t too hard to do colorwork back and forth instead of in the round. The pattern is easy to memorize after a few rows. The only tricky part is getting it to match up and look good right at the armhole shaping.

EDIT 8/27: Tess is just finishing up the seaming and the ribbing, and it will be done! it is so adorable! yay!
