Always loved this hat and was ecstatic when I found the copycat pattern. So, thank you for that!

Modifications: whip-stitched the brim because i did not want to bother with a provisional cast on.

I brioched the ribbing between the purl welts.

Ran out of yarn about 3 rounds before finishing and used a bit of Red Heart Soft whose color almost matched perfectly :)

Note: next time I knit this hat I want to stop about 3 rounds prior.
