Trying to use up the remnants of the Green Door yarn. And if I run out too soon, I’ll use the Fino that almost matches the more peachy shades. Ideally, I’d like to use the Green Door for the edges and the cords but that might prove too tricky so I might just use up the Green Door first and then switch to the Fino if necessary. It’s not like the cords will be visible anyway. Gotta remember that.

There are 7 ch sps in row 1 so the marker goes in the 4th ch sp.

Amazingly, managed to finish all of the Green Door yarn on the body of the kerchief so only needed to use the Fino for the band and ties.

Instead of chaining and scing along, I used foundation sc to start one tie (45 sts), then used the edge of the kerchief body to complete a foundation sc and continued to sc as normal along the edge, and then used the last stitch to pick up the base loop of the foundation sc and fsc the other tie (45 sts). Tried to slst the fsc to the body but that created a dip that I didn’t like so improvised the fsc join. I should remember that for future use.

Nice and lacey and I’m so relieved to be done with all those fiddly little skeins.
