So wattle stitch is a multiple of 3 + 2 and I’m pretty sure there’ll be some shrinkage so I’m aiming for a circumference of 60 cms to be a comfortable fit around Loren’s head which is 55 cms.

Fsc 113 for a circumference of 60 cms for the foundation round. Do not join because working in a spiral.

Round 2: ch 1, (sc, ch 1, dc) into first st, sk next 2 sts, (sc, ch 1, dc) into next st, repeat around til 1 st remains. Ignore last st. DO NOT TURN. Mark first or last ch sp and move marker up on subsequent rounds.

Round 3: Do not ch 1. (sc, ch 1, dc) into each ch sp.

Repeat Round 3 to a height of 30 cms. Slip stitch into marked ch sp and fasten off.

Sew in the starting end so foundation round is even. Attach yarn anywhere along foundation round and work Border #93 from Edie Eckman’s Around The Corner book.

Used about half the skein, I reckon.
