I’m nervous the two yarns don’t actually match in terms of thickness but I’m going to try anyway. I can always rip it back and try another pattern if they don’t work out. Sometimes I have to actually say that to remind myself.

Carrying the colours up the side of the striped and mosaic sections instead of cutting and working over because I’m not risking those ends coming loose. Never again.

Replaced the hdc in the mosaic section with a dc cos I didn’t like how my stitches were pulling up.

Might do an sc border in Orient around the whole thing to hide the colours carried up the side and just finish it off.

Ended with 167 stitches which is close enough for jazz.

Yep, the border in Orient gives it a good finish. I think I’m getting better at spacing stitches evenly along a border? At least in sc. Ha.
