A cute sweater pattern with fun but simple texture. I used leftover yarn so I was definitely playing some yarn chicken.

I started out making the 3month size, but I realized I would not have enough yarn to finish, so I ended up following the length suggestions for the newborn size for the body and sleeves, although I still followed the 3month pattern size for the sleeve decreases.

I used a heavier (worsted) weight yarn, and I also sized down a needle size to 3.75mm. I just liked the way the pattern looked in the tighter gauge, although it did mess up my pattern gauge a little.

I’m waiting to buy/attach buttons until I know the gender.
