Made a hybrid size between an L and XL, using the XL sleeve measurements but followed instructions for L for the bust.

I carried the CC up, catching it every 4th MC row. I didn’t bother catching the MC during the CC stripe rows since the distance was so little.

Since my size had the first row of the sleeves start with the CC, I was worried about the pickup section looking a little blobby so I picked up along the underarm a little deeper than I normally would have so the stripe would look cleaner. I also picked up in between the stitches so the broken rib pattern would line up correctly, and I also needed to pick up a slightly different number of stitches so it would align properly. I also picked up an additional stitch at the corners of the underarm and then did a decrease to mitre the corners and prevent holes (although I messed up one of the corners which is ironically the one that ended up in my photos…)
