Forgot to really keep notes on this project, but it did get restarted once because of sizing issues. I got through the first repeat of the stripe pattern and found that the piece was way oversized. Frogged the whole thing mid-March and started again two sizes down.

I restarted the piece in the XS size, and while I considered using a smaller needle size as well, I ultimately decided against it. (This would mean switching from bamboo to steel needles, which tend to hurt my fingers after a while.) Acknowledged that I didn’t use a linen yarn, but even then I’m shocked by how enormous the final piece came out. Fortunately, I’m digging the sweater-dress vibe, so am going to just roll with it. I think it would be interesting to have this pattern re-sized for wool. Scaled down correctly, this would be a pretty fast top to whip up.
